Advice letter to a character from Romeo and Juliet-

I would like to give some advice to Romeo because he is the reason all this mayhem is happening. He was the result of the death of one of his friends and we don't clearly understand if Romeo likes Juliet from the heart. The advice I'd like to give Romeo is to ignore and avoid Juliet even though that may be hard. Both of their families are enemys and the last thing he wants to do marry a person from that family. Love at first glance is more lust that love and that is considered a sin. Even if Juliet is pretty, Romeo should've understood that every thing has a consequence that might put him at risk. Romeo was too determined to marry Juliet that one of his friends got killed.

Dear Romeo

I would like to give you some advice, you will probably ignore this because you are too determined to marry Juliet. Look at you guys, you're from a good peaceful family and Juliet's family is your enemy. You should think about the consequences before marrying Juliet. Your friend put a curse on your houses and you killed Juliet's cousin. I feel like banishing you was unfair because Juliet's cousin killed your friend. The laws in your city are pretty fed up. One thing you can do if find an another girl because, being with Juliet may have consequences you don't want to deal with. You don't have to completely forget Juliet, but try thinking about the issues you might have coming at you.

You and Juliet's family should sign a treaty to declare peace for both of your families . I don't see the exact reason you guys fight, there's literally no point of fighting to show who's boss. If your family lives in peace with Juliet's family then you have some good luck coming your way. For now, Juliet is a cat disguised in a dog's body. She's unpredictable, if she loves you then you should love her back and avoid any conflicts. There's no point of fighting, violence is stupid and I think it's sad how it's affecting your life. My main advice is to have peace with both houses to avoid mayhem and other issues that are likely to come up.

Sincerely- A student whos name you don't know

This blog post will be on Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith. I will be discussing the themes and topics the author wants us to know about. There is no correct theme or topic but we can always make it up. Not all books have lessons but most lessons can be learned from books. Grasshopper Jungle is basically about 3 friends who need to defeat giant 6 foot praying mantis before they take over, People basically turn into giant praying mantis and keep reproducing. I am not giving any spoilers, you will find most of this information on the summary of this book. Austin is the main character who is going to reverse the praying mantis problem.

I would recommend reading Grasshopper Jungle first before reading this blog post because it may have a few spoilers without spoiling thee whole book. I enjoyed reading Grasshopper Jungle because of the humor in the book and the adventurous setting. This book is mainly a thriller but more of an adventure to stop a disease. This book is not recommended for anyone below 13 years of age due to the language and topics that come up. In my point of view, I think Grasshopper Jungle has a really unfinished ending making me think that there are more than one book in the series.

I think the message of this book is not to mess around with something you don't know about. The grasshopper issue started when Austin and his friends found some weird objects in a weird room that had information on praying mantis armies. It is unknown how the praying mantis disease spread but there can be more that one explanation. I think the disease spreads in mid air, it is impossible to literally spread a disease to millions of different people by doing absolutely nothing. The main theme of this book is to not to mess around with stuff you don't know about and to try no matter what. You can always take action for things that are affecting you.

Book: Diary of  a wimpy kid: Hard luck

This blog post is a review of diary of a wimpy kid hard luck. This will contain some spoilers so I would recommend reading Diary of a wimpy kid hard luck before reading this blog post. The diary of a wimpy kid series is really fun so you wont have to worry about how the book is going to be, That's just my opinion. Any picture book or comic is fun to read and diary of a wimpy kid is no different. Don't worry about wasting your time because these books are pretty short and fun. I will be reviewing diary of a wimpy kid hard luck because it is far most the best book I ever read.

Diary of a wimpy kid is a fun book to read and it's more entertaining than time consuming. In diary of a wimpy kid hard luck there are a lot of lessons to be learned. The story starts with Greg having trouble making friends which is pretty obvious because Rowley stopped hanging out with Greg. I learned that when something weird happens, it never stays for example ''it may be weird to see Rowley with a girl". Sometimes weird things happen for weird reasons and it's a person's job to beware of that. Life isn't always simple as money raining on you.

I also recognized that Greg is having trouble with his family. Greg feels annoyed sometimes, I like how Greg sees the world in a different perspective, he's not weird like the kids around him. By reading this book I learned that weird things don't just happen. I also learned that taking things negatively can result in negativity. Greg sees the world as an annoying place and he finds his family to be quite annoying but he would've not had so much bad luck if he saw the world in a positive view. Diary of a wimpy kid sometimes teaches more lessons than it shows entertainment.

Jeff Kinney made ''Diary of a wimpy kid'' an entertaining book which made it fun to read. Books are not always about the level you're on, sometimes it's about the entertainment or lessons you learn. This Blogpost was 'hopefully' not a spoiler ,and if you're thinking about reading a fun book in your free time or reserved time, read Diary of a wimpy kid. I really like how Jeff Kinney turned Diary of a wimpy kid into a series, once you're done with the first book; you just want to read on and on! I also like reading books in series such as Diary of a wimpy kid and Lightning thief because one book just isn't enough. I could barely sleep at night thinking that there is an another book in the series, you never know when something surprising happens; take Star Wars as an example.

Hey, my name is Kawshik and I will do a review on "The Scorch Trials" which is the sequel to the maze runner. This article will not have any spoilers, but I do recommend reading the Maze Runner and The Scorch trials before reading this. Have you ever been really suspicious about something but thought twice before taking action? well, this book probably has something similar to your situation. Taking action requires taking risks. I will only look at one question which is; "was it okay for Thomas to run away from Janson?" Janson is also known as the second leader of wicked. Janson is the leader of group A.

The book describes Janson as an evil person who put Thomas and his friends in the glades but later rescued them after they made it through the maze. Janson gave Thomas and his friends shelter and food. It turns out that Thomas and his friends weren't the only ones who were in the maze, there were a lot more people. Thomas and his friends, along with a larger group of people are waiting for a new life given by Wicked. The new life isn't technically a new life because it's an experiment. The experiment was said to protect everyone from the outside world.

The outside world was dangerous because it has been destroyed and there was nothing left of it. In chapters 1-4 Thomas meets a guy named Aris who says Wicked is evil and it's not a good idea to let him control them. Aris convinces Thomas and his friends to escape from wicked but they should've thought twice before taking action. Janson gave everyone shelter and food. There was nothing left of the world anyways. Thomas and his friends escaped and one person died during the journey. That teaches us that we should think twice before taking action.

My final statement is : Even if wicked is evil, he still gave everyone a shelter. There was nothing left of the world anyways so why escape? In my opinion I think that Thomas made the wrong decision and he should've thought twice before making it. I could be wrong because I haven't read all of the Maze Runner series.

Should People Eat Meat ?

Kawshik Karmaker                                                                                                                 11/19/2015

Should People Eat Meat ?

Should people be allowed to eat meat? I really don't have a clear answer to this for so many

different reasons. Lets get into religious reasons first and then scientific reasons for this question.

Many people would ask "why would god create animals if humans are just going to kill them?" That's

a really good question. Is killing an animal a sin or not? Humans probably don't care because eating

meat has been a tradition for so many years. Thanksgiving food often contains meat, and

thanksgiving has been a tradition for so many years.

Hinduism is not with or against eating meat but the religious Hindus avoid meat. I am a Hindu

myself and I noticed so many things for example the temple does not serve foods with meat in them

and my grandmother doesn't eat meat for religious reasons. Saying no to this question "Should

people eat meat?" is really complicated because saying yes will show disrespect to some cultures and

saying no will just take away freedom. My answer is technically yes ,but this shouldn't be a law or

state issue because freedom is important and it is also important that we respect all the cultures and

traditions out there. A lot of religious people might say "whats the point of having animals in earth if

they will just be destroyed" Some people believe that humans are supposed to be vegetarians but

science just won't agree with that for a lot of reasons.
Meat can be important to a human in so many ways for example protein, vitamin B-12 and

calcium may be important to a human diet. There is no proven health benefits for eating meat, keep

in mind that too much of something may be bad for you. Some people believe that eating meat will

cause obesity, diabetes and other health issues but there is no evidence to support that. There are

some studies that show that vegetarians have a lower risk of cancer than meat eaters. Well here are

some ridiculous facts that people still believe about eating meat, Meat makes you fat, Meat rots your

colon, meat is harmful and will most likely cause cholesterol, Surprised yet? meat doesn't even cause

cancer, then why does research say that meat eaters have higher chances of getting cancer than

vegetarians, well it is true that processed meat may cause cancer so don't get confused.

We learned that there are so many myths about eating meat and most of the health benefits don't

have evidence for it. My answer to "should people eat meat" is yes because saying yes will allow

some people to eat meat and others to avoid it. It is important that we all respect everyone's cultures

 and traditions. Thanks for reading!

Percy Jackson vs Teenagers

Kawshik Karmaker                                                                                                         Subject- Publish

Teenagers vs Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson is a great book for teenagers, adults and children but for this article we will focus

on how the Percy Jackson series relates to teenagers so please continue reading, this article may relate

to you in a way. One way Percy Jackson relates to teenagers is how wisely he makes his choices,

we've all made choices like him but our choices took much more effect because Percy is a fictional

character. If Percy was real, his choices would control the future of the universe because he has to

deal with things related to god. A lot of us have or has had stress before, Percy has more stress

because he has to deal with evil monsters and saving Olympus but lets face it, he's fictional so there

are no real examples but to realize that stress and hard choices are normal and it has happened to

everyone in different points of views. Stress is normal!

Now lets get into how Percy makes his decisions! Percy thinks before doing something. Percy

also has ADHD which is bad thing in reality but he somehow manages to stay on task and complete

his missions or journeys. This shows us that ADHD is keeping Percy on task. The Prophecy in Percy

Jackson: Sea Of Monsters states that Percy's choices will most likely destroy Olympus but it never

said it will destroy it so that shows the reader that "plan wisely and don't zone out". "You only get

one shot do not miss your chance to blow, this opportunity comes in a lifetime yo...- Eminem". This

story has nothing to do with Eminem but we can relate to the quote because if Olympus is destroyed

then the universe is destroyed so there's only one shot to fix that, Percy also has decisions that choose

the faith of Olympus and he gets no more than one. With great power comes great responsibility,

that's probably one reason why Percy has to deal with a lot of things.

From reading Percy Jackson books we learn that trust is important because sometimes the person

you trust may just turn out to be your worst enemy. Dealing with backstabbers, There was one thing I

learned, They're only powerful when you've got your back turned- Eminem, I found this to be a very

smart quote based on Percy Jackson and the lightning thief. I also learned that stress and hard

decisions are something we all go through but sometimes it may get way too serious. I also learned

that slacking off during a serious job is unacceptable for example in Percy Jackson and the lightning

thief, Percy and his friends went to look for a gem but they got too consumed by the casino and ended

up spending over 3 days. Be sure to read Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, this article will be

understood more clearly.

In this last paragraph I will talk about what is learned in the book. You only need to read one book

to clearly understand what I'm saying. I learned that we all have to deal with stress, responsibility

, decisions and probably trust issues. By reading Percy Jackson the reader will understand how to

deal with the four things I've discussed which are trust, responsibility, stress and hard decisions. It is

also important to have  focus on serious jobs because they can really slip. Hope you enjoyed reading

this article and be sure to read a book from the Percy Jackson series, I would recommend starting

with lightning thief which is the first book. Thanks for reading!

Percy Jackson

Kawshik Karmaker                                                                                                                              804

Percy Jackson

The Percy Jackson books are great for teenagers, kids and adults but mostly kids and teenagers and kids. Percy makes a lot of hard choices for example the prophecy says his choices will most likely destroy Olympus but in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters Percy managed to save Olympus but he fought a lot of things that are evil. A  normal human can't handle that type of stress, especially fighting with something satanic. A normal human being isn't made to fight monsters especially a 5 headed dragon that breaths fire which was in Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief. Percy Jackson is a great example of a responsible thing because a person cant be as responsible as saving Gods.

So, how does this relate to teenagers? The answer is stress, trust and responsibility. Percy had to deal with someone betraying him in the end and he had the lightning bolt all along although he was not the lightning thief. Naming the person who betrayed him in the end would be a spoiler, but here's a short version of Percy's issue: If the lightning bolt isn't found then the gods will fight and that will destroy Olympus and possibly the world. So we know that Percy's stress is to stop evil before it can destroy Olympus in a way. Teenagers deal with stress, same for adults and so does Percy. Percy is fictional therefore his stress is not considered stress to us, but by reading Percy Jackson books we learn that trust and focus is important along with a lot of responsibility. Humans worship gods but never meet them or help them.

Percy Jackson has ADHD and keeps up with his work without loosing focus to something. ADHD is something some humans are born with and it is not a good symptom. People with ADHD tend to loose focus in one thing rather than the other but Percy does not do that. A human with ADHD usually can not keep up with work. Percy also has power which is being healed from touching water, we all know that "with great power comes great responsibility" and his responsibility is huge.

From reading Percy Jackson books, teenagers can get a fake concept of stress but still learn from it. Sometimes the person you may trust may just turn out to be your biggest enemy. Stress is something we've all been through but Percy's stress is a lot of stress compared to a human. A human will worship a god and in Percy's case, he is the son of Zeus therefore he is sent to camp Olympus. A normal human that does not have ADHD won't keep up with Percy, that's how powerful he is. We learned that you can keep up with stress and responsibilities by making smart choices.
